Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started writing my own songs a few years ago and that took it to an even more intimate level for me. To put words and a melody into what I’m feeling is cathartic, and it’s a profound experience when I’m able to accurately “get out” in a song what’s going around and around in my head and heart. I like having a tangible reminder of my life’s journey, both the good times and the challenging ones.
